Yea I don't know. I thought I read he was ok after is flukey tumble but I didn't read much further. Makes me sad to say it but this might be the game we realize what Zajac does. I think our defensive game takes a hit tonight.

The Devils should be fine having Josefson play in place of Zajac. However, I hope Zajac is well enough to play tomorrow to shadow his old buddy Parise. By the way, I hope Brunner benefits from playing with on the same line with Josefson. They had some success playing together in pre-season.

Against this very physical Flyers team, Larsson and Gelinas better keep their heads up. The same goes to all the Devils.

I expect the Devils to bring a lot of energy tonight and continue to make strides in becoming a better team. If the Devils do not bring their A game against the Flyers, Devils' fans should be very disappointed and should expect a very long and sad hockey season.

Damn. @ Blizzard not that I think that Zajac has been bad or doesn't help us win. It's just he needs to do more and i expect more from him. He is suppose to be a leader on the team. He does rotate an A between him and Greene.

I agree with most of this but I don't think this is our season make it or break it game as we play the Flyers again after Minny. We just have to play our game not retaliate and walk away from the stuff after the whistles and we should be alright. If we get suckered into playing their way will could end up in trouble. I wonder if they have figured out how to dump the puck in on Marty yet as the last 2 season he has killed there dump in and in doing so their offense to.

I agree he needs to put up more points 100% but I don't think he has been bad by any means defensively. Now he isn't getting paid the dollars he is to do what Jay Mcclement does for a fraction of the price so he does need to step up but I think he is contributing to our success by what he has done against the other teams top lines. Like I said though for the dollars he is making I want to see 65 pts not 45

I still have yet to hear any news regarding Clowe. Is he going to be out for a while? Like when should we expect him back?

Exactly. He's solid in his own end it's the rest of his game where he needs to pick it up.

After last night those guys are coming out loaded with piss and vinegar. If there was a game I would understand bringing Cam into this would be the one. There is no one in this lineup to discourage Simmonds from hitting everything that moves or to hold Rinaldo accountable for pulling some questionable garbage. Can't say I'm disappointed to see Downey is out.

I agree I would really like to see Cam in there but he is such a bad hockey player and it kind of sends the team the wrong message I think anyways instead of walking away after the whistle the might be a little braver with Cam in the line up. I just want them to pay attention play smart and burn them on the score sheet when they get to aggressive or make a mistake and walk out with no injuries and 2 points.

As long as you weren't trying to be cap compliant, I'd say you left a few key pieces out. Here's what I'd go with:

Vanek, JT, Okposo
Elias, Nielson, Jagr
Bailey, Henrique, Grabner
Zubrus, Zajac, Clutterbuck

Hamonic, Larsson
Greene, Visnovsky
Gelinas, Zidlicky

Schneider
Brodeur

They can walk away from the after the whistle stuff, but guys like Rinaldo have no problem getting cheap, especially with the chip they will have on their shoulders after last night.
