If the scouts still follow Buffalo then you know it wasn't Vanek. I doubt it was Miller as it has been said no Canada for him.

It's the kind of player the Jets want in Thorburn, Peluso and perhaps to some degree Tangradi and aren't getting from any of them.

They aren't getting it from Peluso because Noël has him sitting in the press box. Every game he has dressed he has played well and done what he was supposed to do. Plus, no one wants to fight him.

Peluso can replace Thorburn AND Tangradi, neither of whom does what they are supposed to do very well, and make some room for Cormier.

We have grown tired of our Staff infection. He scores all his goals in a month and then nothing . We are experiencing the "nothing" now. He has size ,skill. but no finish. He is like the chick that leaves you hard and alone .

Ok a 2nd rd pick if they don't want the 3rd, just take Stafford.

Agreed with other Sabre fans here. Stafford has ability but no drive or passion for the game. He often goes unnoticed most nights with the exception of a single shift once every ten games. Why he's still on this team after this many years is beyond me. Surprised to hear Winnipeg may have made inquiries in the past without Regier anxious to unload him and his overpaid contract.

He plays the perimeter and never finishes a check nor goes in to the hard areas to make plays or score goals. He does have a good shot when given time and space, but never creates it himself. We would be ecstatic to unload that guy. By the way, you can take Leino and his big contract too. That would help speed up the rebuilding process. Another player that got lucky in free agency, but was never worth the money.

We don't want him at all. It would be a move that Chevy would make to bring in an 'elite' forward....... I have no idea what buffalo has and is willing to move that winnipeg needs.

Dear Jets fans. You really need Drew Stafford. He represents a hardworking, scoring power forward that every team could use. His drive and passion for the game know no bounds. He will score with a good center and never hesitate to come to the defense of a teammate. With all that is happening in Buffalo, this could be great player needs a change of scenery. He will be the rock in which your Cup title is built on........God I hope they believe that load of crap.
