Don't hold your breath on this one guys and gals. With Dubnyk in they may have a chance if he plays well. Other wise we an chalk up another loss. Of course if the team as a whole plays well, then it may be an exciting game to watch. As for disappointing losses, they have all been disappointing losses. When a journalist like Jim Matheson says it's time to panic and get some help, then you know the team is in dire straights. Hope they pull off an upset.

Its a bloody shame McDavid wasn't draft eligible this coming draft.

It's mindblowing this team can't score on the PP, we have two legit lines and they still suck.

SPeaking of deflections, why don't we ever have a guy in the high slot looking for the pass from the blueline or half wall and redirect it on net? We hardly have anything going on in front of the net for whatever reason, so why not have a guy sitting, or at least try to skate through that area, and get the redirect.

and holy poop is it frustrating watching them missing good shooting chances and instead skate to the outside and pass it around some more.

They don't wanna give up any of your good young players, despite the continual loses and growth of players like Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle and RNH, but they expect to get better. I don't get it either? They don't wanna give up any of your good young players, despite the continual loses and growth of players like Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle and RNH, but they expect to get better. I'm getting frustrated and I'm not even a fan. A good friend of mine is though, starting to feel for the poor guy!

yeah it's fuking painful right now.
yesterdays loss was just terrible.

and as fans we got so attached to our players and these kids that give us hope, we don't wanna move anyone of significance either. even though we just keep losing and losing

Damn, it's so frustrating as an Oiler fan that after missing the playoffs for so long, having three straight #1 picks, and having every opportunity to improve this team, the thing we're left looking forward to are more high draft picks. (frank)ING OILERS FIX THIS poop!!!!

Yep. Size is needed to complement the smaller guys. A good example on Thursday was the Caps line of Chimera, Fehr and Grabovski. Skill in the middle with size & speed on the wings. The Oilers couldn't handle that line which scored twice.
We've good loads of talent but they all play a similar style. We need some big wingers to create some space for Nuge, Ebs etc., to operate in. We also need someone big with decent hands to play in front of the net on the pp and bang in some rebounds.
That's only the forwards---the D needs serious help and we do not have a legit starter in net.
