Because Leggy never became a sniper he's been run into the ground for 15 years. He makes mistakes like everyone else but he has been an asset to this team for a decade and a half. Lighten up guys.

Hutton looked pretty good last night - especially during stretches where the Jets were playing at a high level. And you gotta say this. For all the Preds offensive struggles (and they will likely continue), Pavelec played well last night to limit the Preds to 3 goals. That Cullen wrap-around would be a goal 99% of the time - it was just a great play by their goalie. The Preds played some crappy hockey in spurts last night, but also showed some offensive jump.

They could've scored 5 goals against the Jets in that game. And while I'm usually on here complaining about the lack of "finishers" on the team - last night Winnipeg's goalie had a lot to do with the lack of finish.

For every goal that Leggy doesn't score, he probably prevents 2 with his backchecking an def zone play, and he has never been inconsistent with that.

Have we ever had a "bad" goalie? Makes you wonder how much is due to the Trotz way and Preds system. He has made defencemen and goalies a bunch of money over the years. Not so much so for the forwards though-maybe Joel Ward.

Really nice game by Smith last night. Maybe this is truly his year.

I picked up Craig Smith in my pool and I have been greatly rewarded. He actually leads my pool team in shots, and I have Stamkos on my team!
