Trade for tootoo and get scott to wear the sabretooth costume. Solved |

Don't really see the Oilers in it anymore, even if they did try last week and failed, can't imagine they'd try again at this point |

All reports out of winnipeg are saying the jets want this guy bad.
Garry Lawless had said that when he was ufa that the Jets were found out at the last minute that they didn't get the player and we're seriously pushing to sign tootoo.
I think he is just what the jets need I wouldn't be surprised to see them trade a player like Postma or a late pick and burry an contract in the minors.
Jets are also in the west so it makes more sense for the wings to trade outside the conference. |

Doooo it...the Wings lineup is so muddled right now and they've got Eaves and Helmer returning shortly. They have to do something, not to mention a guy like Gus being wasted in Grand Rapids. |

JML for Tootoo....Win, Win - Byfuglien Ate Me
Win win if your the Leafs. Other than the fact that Detroit can't afford the salary I love it hahaha. |

We don't really need another second line d-man. The problem is we have too many moderate d-men as is. And definitely not for his 3+ mil a year. You can have Tootoo for a fourth or fifth round pick. |

Hard to not like Tootoo. And he has shown some decent hockey skill in the past.

I'd do that deal if we had the cap room.
Need to trade JML for a 7th and keep half his $...... |

I like Tootoo but with Clutterbuck & Martin I can't see the isles being interested |

I still don't see why EDM/COL for him. They have the room and the need. A lot of other teams already have d-men in the systems that can work just as well as he can unfortunately. The last decade has been good for defense apparently. |

Trading Tootoo is a salary dump. No point doing it if they take back 500k. |

Taking back 500,000 of 1.9 million might be doable if they're doing this for a future trade for a good d-man towards Olympic Break if it comes down to that. They could use extra cap room down the line. |

I think Jordin Tootoo is the last thing the Devils need to be worrying about. I would also put the CBGB line up against Detroits fourth line so I really don't see how he would play on our 4th line anyways since it's literally the best thing we have going for us. - blizzzard
Blizz, we know how Lou does things here...he'll trade Larsson and probably Tedneby/Josefson to Detroit for Tootoo and prospects/picks. Detroit loads up on some more Swedes, they can turn Larsson into Lidstrom, turn Teds into St.Louis and Josefson into a 2nd line center and we can sit back and watch our old, slow team get even slower...but at least we'll get the first pick in the draft....oh wait I forgot |

The Islanders do not need Tootoo. They already have Martin and Clutterbuck. What would Tootoo bring to the Islanders that they already don't have? The Islanders need a Dman and a serviceable backup goalie to take some pressure of Nabby. They clearly don't trust Poulin. |

Also, they just got rid of Brown who was a similar-role player. |
