Its nice that for one evening anyways we dont have to read the 16,000 Yak trade proposals and how Hall is ruining our team and how Duby needs to be shot |

Great to see the Boys suck it up and rescue 2 pts. They still have to learn team defence and to play full out for 60 minutes. Can't wait for the Caps game on Thursday. |

Let me get this straight. Hall leaves game with injury oil go on yo win. He doesn't play the next game and the Oilers win again. Coincidence I think not. There weren't as many reckless plays that caused turn overs. |

They shouldn't need some idiot to motivate them... But regardless, I'm glad that idiot did. |

Pitlick looked solid. A forechecking presence that we haven't had night in night out. And holy poop he's much faster than I ever remember advertised. |

He's been forcing the play a little too much this year but the guy is a strong possession player and is one of the burgeoning threats in terms of Zone Entries.
To wit, statistics suggest that more goals are produced from carrying the puck over the line than dumping, even if a strong and committed puck carrier will turn the puck over more often than a guy who dumps it in. Further, the difference between giveaways in the offensive zone that generate goals against and loss of possession from dumping it in that generates a goal against is negligible when compared to the boon you get in goals for when carrying it in.
He has been forcing it though. |

So enjoyable to see the `Junior`team come back from 2 goals down to beat the HaplessHabs 4-3. Couldn`t happen to a `nicer`team. Well done Oil!!! |

This comment is 'bush-league'.
Ugly game all-around for both teams. Good job by the oil to grind it out for the W. |

I think this shows that Edmonton might be best served unload one of Eberle/Hall/Yakupov for some defensive help. And no, I'm not talking about Tyler Myers either (though I'd be much obliged if you did). |
