Statistics don't reveal the QUALITY of the shots and how poorly the D covered those shooters. He suck but WE sucked just as bad this game. We looked whiny and inept. I am not impressed by a team who thinks they great and expect an inferior foe to hand them the game. And yes, Zatcoff is NOWHERE near NHL ready. Next goalie please. if this guy starts again I will be sure to miss that game. Crosby is a whiner, sorry he just is.

One other thing, big body teams/players give our D fits. Despres is a big body player who is never utilized to counteract this problem. Why is this?

We have beaten a dead horse why he isn't in the NHL right now.

Zatkoff sucked something awful and Crosby needs to remember that hockey is full contact , but I think part of it was Crosby upset about the while situation of losing. He's not helping anyone by taking a stupid penalty , get over it and stop whining.

If Lucic did a similar thing nobody would be calling it "whining".

It was what it was, a dumb play. Not really sure I care to lump what he did in with a dead narrative.

I was also surprised that he did that with still some time left. Dupuis also bounced right back up and it wasn't like he was injured from the hit. Just one of those things where his frustration built up and came out, but I'd like to see him control it a little better

Its something that has crept into the game. Someone gets hit big (legal) and the team feels they need to defend their teammate.

Its crazy, people are going to get hit hard and legal. Just take a number and work it out later on with a good hit of your own.

Your right whining is the wrong word , he was just frustrated by the situation , that the team hasn't played their best and that Zatkoff played so poorly and he hates to lose , but he needs to keep his emotions in check in order to avoid stupid penalties , he is the captain after all , should lead by example
