Great move by the Kings' "fans" in attendance tonight. You have the guy who's probably the best goalie in the world right now. The best goalie the Kings have ever had. Totally different situation, lmao. Comparing what happened last night to Roy demanding a trade because his coach left him in the game for how many ever goals it was is pretty far fetched. Last I checked, Quick is not immature and cocky like Roy was at the time (and maybe still is). Dude has thicker skin than that. But keep making up fairy tale parallels if that gets you off.

Secondly, its not as if all of Staples erupted. A small minority of people cheered after he saved the next shot. I don't like it, but I don't really care either. Jeering your own goalie is stupid, but I think it was done in jest and not spite.

Let's be frank, yzermaneely has a point about the culture of fans changing since the Kings won the cup. It's definitely easy to get on board and follow a team that is successful. Ducks fans know that first hand as well.

Oh my god, relax. Us Kings fans in attendance last night were just having a little fun with an obvious blunder. Quick received numerous ovations last night for his great saves. Quick took it in the manner in which it was intended, in good fun, and he waved to the crowd to keep it coming. Lighten up.

Us season ticket holders have a family like bond with everyone in the organization. So you better believe we will give him a hard time when a very wierd goal happens.
