I agree Dan about flipping KO and Bailey. I do not see Strait and Hickey being long term answers for the Isles.

Exactly what I was thinking, although I don't expect Bailey will be the long term answer. Hickey and especially Strait are a poor stopgap until Reinhart, Pulock, and Pedan, etc., are ready. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Have to think Strome will be the long term answer with JT. It will be tough watching this D this year. There will be good flashes and many fustrating flashes. Isles are not ready for the big push yet.

Strait was the worse player on the ice yesterday. I actually thought Amac played well yesterday. The team as a whole was not too bad they just need to bury their chances. Moulson still shows why hes one of my favorite players on the team. My criticism for yesterdays game is this; switch Bailey and Okposo or put Nelson on that line (who was one of the best players on the ice yesterday). PMB had been absolutely invisible in every game including the preseasons if he doesn't step up he will be the scratch for Strome. Finally I just want to say the Duck has turned 22 today

No problem not rushing Strome. Let Strome and the D develope in Bridge all year if needed and let Reinhart go back to AHL if needed. 2014 though, I want these guys to be ready to go.

Happy Birthday Duck! PMB may need to sit for CC. Garth was sure quick with that Strait contract.

Thanks buddy. Hard to believe I have been on this site since I was 17. Oh the good old days of waiting to draft Tavares.

Strait was bad and so was Amac. Guy gets muscled off the puck way too easily.

I thought it was a good game except for the third period. However we are getting out hit in both games. Zero fights, and the battle level is not wear it needs to be. It's time for Martin to unleash and can't wait till Clutterbuck gets back.

I posted that last week and was questioning it in last blog...jus this morning.
JB deserves a 3-5 game look on first line. He is a better playmaker and doesn't fall down as much as KO and he's NOT used as a center BUT would be able to take faceoffs when JT gets tossed from circle. Win, win & WIN.

Yes, Reinhart should get involved soon or get sent back to playing hockey in Canadia. What is it he's learning from the press box? "Hey Garth, what are they doing down there?" (garth) "That's Hockey, Griffen. It's game played on ice with 5 players & a goalie, aside. That little black thing is a puck. Players use their sticks to move and shoot the puck into the other teams' net, which is guarded by that player with all the padding. I used to be a goalie, Griffen." (GR) "Wow. Sounds interesting, Garth. Do you think I could try?"

Battle Level needs to be elevated to Profanity status on this blog.

Cappy needs to learn how to put his forward and D lines together. He also needs to get KO and Bailey going somehow when the season starts. Leave Grabner alone and focus on KO,Bailey, Strait, and Amac. I'm not expecting a Cup this year. I want to see the guys like KO and Bailey progress under Cappy.

Ive been saying the same thong about Bailey for a while. Time for a change. Thought they already figured it out with okposo on that line? He will be good on the second line. JT and him have zero chemistry. Bailey will be a good fit if given a real opportunity.
