Agreed.

Gardiner is young with a HUGE upside, much greater than that of Schenn. They really need to give this kid a chance.

The Schenn trade is looking pretty damn good right about now. Schenn may be a decent stay at home D, but nothing to justify his draft position.

What kind of offer will you get now that possibly offsets the upside you are giving up.

Carlyle knows all about the Leafs history of giving up on D men.

I think gardiner is going to be fine. Eccentric, but fine. What's the rush really - I mean if we were to move him, what would we be looking for? Not that we're the best team in the league or anything, but what? a 1st line centre? We just have to let this team play out, i don't see too many moves this season from nonis
