I don't see the stars being any good at all...some are picking them just as a "sleeper". But this roster overall is weak.

When you toss in Daley, Peverly and Probably Rome on the 4th line, they are rather deep on offense with the bottom 6 being a nice mix of skill and size. Nichushkin is the wild card, if he comes out blazing, those Stars are can go deep. After watching numerous KHL reels, WJC games and just observing his game from a power standpoint, he could be Top line come April. A line of Benn - Seguin - Nichushkin is deadly. A true banger in Benn, a playmaking elite center and another Rick Nash type play is a deadly line.
Alex Chiasson is another one of those undervalued players, he'll do well for himself if he can maintain some offense, kid has those unreal sense in and around the net and defensive zone when he's clicking. And Whitney is no slouch, he very well could lead the team in scoring. And then you have Eakin. Damn good player. That's a very well balanced top 6, and that's not even mentioning the other big body in Erik Cole.
On defense, Goligoski is solid, Robidias is a top pairing guy whose going to be helping Dillion develop into a top D in the league, I think he's the next McDonough.
And then obvious Gonchar, Daley, fill out a diverse and relatively physical top 4.
Lehtonen is a solid goaltender now playing behind a better defense.
This team could finish 3-4 in their division easily.
