I hope he does well ( for his sake as well as the teams), but I see little, if any, chance of him staying up once Nuge is back, let alone once Gags returns. |

Hi Everybody!
edit: This is a great write up. I'm sure he has seen what Lander and Omark did and doesn't want to go down that route. |

It'll be a nice story if he plays well enough to earn a fulltime roster spot when they do come back. |

You know, there was another player that went undrafted, spent 4 years playing college hockey then went on the the AHL. He was small, always told that his size was an issue that would keep him from making the NHL. This player would end up not only making the NHL, he actually won the MVP, the Stanley cup and played on the Canadian national team a few times. Martin St. Louis. Arcobello could have similar success if given the right chance. |

Playing with Ebs and Perron, we should find out really quick. I think he'll get freaking pwned in his own end when he plays against real NHLers. In his one NHL game, he didn't play a minute in the 3rd period cause he was in over his head.

He is another year older and has shown that he can play with Ebs and Perron. Give the guy the right situation and he can succeed. |

Good point, physically they are very close to the same size. If he wants it bad enough I think he'll succeed. |

I'm willing to give him a shot, but we really need to look into a winger that can play top 6 and fill in at center at some point. We really needed this going into the year with RNH down, now with Gagner out it's even more of a demand. Tough to find, but we need to find one.
Thankfully Hall doesn't look too bad at center. |

He hasn't played Center for a very long time. The fact that we never tried him out with all our center problems this year is also quite telling. |

I don't understand why they decided not to give him a try at center, at least in the preseason. Maybe it has something to do with how good he is on the perimeter as a set up guy. |

Matt Henderson: A Bit About Arcobello
Mark Arcobello will be the Oilers 2C. He is profiled a bit here with a scouting report from Barons observer Neal Livingston. - Matt_Henderson

Don't get me wrong I love the two blogger deal we have going. Like you both, but for the love of god can you guys communicate so that we don't have blogs so close together? Some of us just can't handle two well written blogs within an hour of each other |

It actually is something we are working on, but Ryan keeps insisting on using a secret code that I lost the key to. All I get back are a series of quotes from The Big Lebowski and Goosebumps novels. He is extremely difficult to work with. |
