Here come all the Coyotes trolls.....

Seriously though:

- Santorelli looked good again, lock to make the team at this point and a former 20 goal scorer in Florida so you know that he's capable. When/if Booth returns, I'd like to see them paired together since they both scored 20 together in Florida.

- Still not impressed with the Burrows-Keser duo offensively, I know it's only pre-season but I had doubts about this before.

- Richardson IMO is a better fit for the 4th line than the third, I like him in that spot.

- Garrison on the PP = money.

- Weber looks a lot better than Alberts.

Edit: Forgot to add, good blog, Todd! I like the commitment staying up past midnight your time to write a pre-season post-game blog.

Ya Horvat asserted himself a lot better tonight. He seemed a bit star struck at first but played a real strong game. It's going to be hard sending any of Gaunce Horvat or Shinkaruk down. I think Weber has taken the 6th spot. I don;t mind Corrado getting number 1 ice time in Utica. His offensive game can grow down there. As of now, with the suspensions.

Give the kids until Kassian comes back. Whoever sinks gets sent down.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Burrows end up back with the Sedins at some point. I don't see the offensive chemistry between him and Kesler and the Sedins with Hansen. Kassian still seems to lack the position and smarts to play well enough with them consistently as well, but I'd still give that a shot when he returns.

I'm all for starting Shinkaruk with Kesler, mainly because I'm not too excited about any of our other forwards in a top 6 role. Horvat definitely looked a lot better. Gaunce was decent. I don't mind sending down Corrado to play 20-25 minutes a night in Utica if Weber continues to play well, but if he struggles then I'd rather call up Corrado than rotate Weber/Alberts.

I liked the lines tonight. I thought players crashed the net and that produced goals. I liked that we got away from the cycle game.

Agree with that, but it's hard to really put too much stock into one game. Didn't hate the lineup at all and it's hard to argue with the results tonight.

Before everyone depended on the twin who play to the outside. This is what scoring teams do,they go to the net.

One preseason game but it sure was played the way hockey should be played.

I thought Horvat's confidence looked miles above where it was in the previous games. More talent around him plus the great opportunity that lies in front of him now with players out....

Weber and Santorelli deserve roster spots and quite frankly, the team needs them.

Keep Higgins kes and burrows on the 2nd. Put Horvat with santorelli and shinkaruk. With Richardson on the 4th with whomever.

So happy it's not just me who's been seeing this. Maximum chemistry on the kill, minimal on O. If we need them to shutdown Toews and co then by all means place them together. To generate offense...

I'd like to see Shinkaruk with the Sedins just for interest factor.

Kassian - dude, I really am not sold on this guy. I'm not writing him off but he if his IQ is as low as I think it is we have problems.

A blind, legless wombat could play in Tippet's system and still get a "W" - what's Greiss' excuse?

He's blind, legless, armless, and his equipment is all oily and Greissy. Hard to squeez the puck...especially without the whole legs and arms thing. Thats a bitich.

We won't win the preseason cup? You mean we were supposed to be icing our best players the whole time? Geez I guess we are doing it wrong.

With Booth injured and Kassian suspended I think Bo and Shink will get at least 5 games and is theirs to lose. I like a look of a third line line Shink Bo Santorelli.

I also thought that Hansen provided a lot of offense for the Canucks. It seemed to cut the twins cycle in half and more of the game was being played in front of the net.I have to admit I like Hansen on the wing more that Burrows with them .Yes it is one game ,let's see some more.

I thought Kesler also had a decent night ,he actually passed the puck a few times. Good chemistry with Burrows and Higgins.

Sedin Sedin Hansen
Higgins Kesler Burrows
Shin Gaunce or Bo Santorelli
Sestito Richardson Kassian/Weise

Torts thinks Sestitio is out of shape and needs a conditioning coach. Good to hear
