Unless Lack stands on his head, the Canucks should get beat handily tonight. Interested to see how that second line plays and also the 4th as well. Shinkaruk with another strong game will solidify himself a shot to at least start the season on the team IMO. Jensen needs a good game tonight. |

I'm more interested in Schroeder between Hansen and Higgins. This is a potential 3rd line if they play well together and don't get scored against too much. |

That as well, I'd like to see Sullivan/Gulutzan match them against the top line of the Oilers tonight, but I doubt we see any line matching during pre-season. |

Agreed. The performance of Schroeder could be key this season. |

Todd - if Alberts and Corrado are playing together, Corrado is right handed and Alberts is left handed. They, whomever that it, wrote it down randomly. |

Another evaluation game. Torts said he wants things figured out by game 4 so I would assume this it's a last chance game for some. Tho with Booth tweaking groin...
Looks like Edmonton is using more of season type line up so it will be a good chance for the youngsters to step up and win one |

Yeah, that's what I thought too.
Plus, seriously, some people get too worked up about the whole which hand a d-man is *cough*splen*cough* |

I think it depends on the players, some don't seem to mind at all while others really struggle, could be a combination of a mental/physical thing. |

Oilers should easily win this game! They've got five of their top six players in the line-up whereas the Canucks have none. Add to that, on defense only Edler and Tanev are regulars to the top four dman positions.
Still gonna be fun to see the kids play!!! Expect some major cuts tomorrow. |

Yeah, Ballard was a guy who just couldn't adjust, couldn't seem to take a pass on the backhand. Most guys that make it to this level are pretty good at adjusting to the situation. |

David Booth's groin is going to screw the nucks all season. He should have it surgically removed. |

Booth will be on long term IR to get a long look at Shink or Gauncey |

They should win, but keep in mind EDM has 1 Dman that was on the roster last year. Maybe 2 this year. Also Ty Rimmer, an undrafted goalie, is playing the second half.
How's Horvat been? |

I played on both sides back in the day, you never really heard of it like you do now. Players, and people in general, are a lot softer these days. |

Nucks won't have the puck much tonight, your dmen won't be pressured a whole lot. Horvat has been just ok, sub-par last game IMO. |
