Absolutely right choice.

The only other real option was Glencross, and he's too pretty to represent a team of blue-collar grinders. Now Buchberger, there's a guy who got his ass kicked regularly and you could see it. Gio looks like a caveman, so he's pretty close.

Unless you have a point to make that would actually contribute to discussion I'd suggest dropping it.

Say what you will about Vetts but I much prefer his avatar to CD's
it's hard to have a bad choice on such a young team...and Gio is good...but I almost wish they had a Gabriel to anoint like the Avs. Too bad as I see this as a stopgap Todd Simpson move

Very good choice! I have a lot of respect for him as a player. As much as I despise the Flames , the one thing they have over the Oilers at the start of their "rebuild" is some decent vets. If they can keep Giordano & Glencross happy and determined it will go a long way. Edmontons vets were way past their prime or completely uninterested pretty early on in the rebuild. Hopefully some of the elder Flames can keep some fire in their bellies.

I don't want some young kid being our captain. It's a position that should be earned. Not given. How did the teenaged Captain work out for the Avs last season.

Hilarious, any comments criticizing Vetter and his history of inconsistent blogging have been deleted, so the main page says 22 comments, but it is actually 18. Is this good or bad for Vetter?

If you are going to blog, blog but to throw random posts up every 3 weeks is waste of time, and save the "I am busy" rhetoric, we are all busy, don't commit to something you can't commit to.

I am sure this post will be down in minutes

What does coming in here and female doging about the frequency of his blogs add to the discussion? You're not the one paying him, what's it to you?

We're one of few teams that are lucky enough to have 2 bloggers covering the goings on of the team. If all you want to do is complain, then yes, I'll delete your comments. There are plenty of posters who are happy to talk hockey and they don't need to read through all of the whining to do that.

Wow, you really don't understand the concept of a website do you?
Do you work in in the Public Sector by chance?

Not remotely. Understand this though. The bloggers are what makes this site successful.

If all you want to do is come in here and slag them, you're not going to be welcome here. If you want to talk hockey, then by all means post your take and let's have a discussion, if not then feel free to find another site to spend your time at.

I don't even know how to respond to that. One thing is for certain, the people who visit this site make it successful, very poor customer service to say " if you don't like it, go somewhere else" instead of trying to fix the issue which is, we lost a good blogger in Todd and he was replaced with a blogger who doesn't really give a sh!t.

And yes, I have been spending time on other sites, I guess that is good for you
