I tend to stay away from that sort of thing until the league's made a decision re: discipline. I do the same when someone hits a Lightning player illegally too. I can throw something in there though.

Good write up Michael. Douche from st. Pete must have crawled back under that rock that he's from. Wish I could have watched, but it's preseason and I don't have the sports package right now anyways. Erne sound like a real jewel, but a couple years of seasoning will do him good.

Unfortunately it's a pre season game without the top stars but I am a little sick of having to hear about the resiliency and fight to come back all the time. We never quit was the motto last year mostly because they always had to fight back from a big deficit. Once again down 3-0 and outshot 11-2 in the first sounds too familiar. It's preseason and a great win for the young guys but I am tired of the first period soft play and the Lightning are all too often down after an early soft goal. I hope I never hear the we never give up theme this year. Maybe we need to tell these guys it's really the second period instead of the first. Lol. I know it's critical but hopefully just a bad flashback and not more of the same.

yeah as you know that isn't our final roster so hopefully they do a better job , not a bad game considering the roster we put in wasn't our best ..

I hear ya though we always played from behind last year and its when we played some of our best hockey, but your right we have to play our best hockey for a full 60, not (frank) around til we find ourselves behind and say oh (frank) we gotta get back in it

They just missed the net on a few and we had 3 minors penalties.

Then you're in for disappointment. To expect a collection of kids to dominate right out of the gate is crazy. Why don't we write them all off and trade them? Most of them have NEVER played together let alone played against portions of a NHL squad.
