These games should be played at Citizen's Bank Arena in Ontario. Perfect sized arena, less costs for the teams. I guess both organization's underestimated the interest in Hockey in SoCal and their future NHL'ers would draw. Charge a $5 admission or charge for parking and fill the place up. Good game for the Kings youngsters. Vey is an outstanding player, you cannot teach vision. 2nd game in El Segundo. Poor job Kings organization with the 2nd game site.

I really agree with you. After seeing numerous games at Citizens Bank there is no reason to think that Kings and Ducks fans wouldn't have sold that place out with one of these games. El Segundo is so far removed from everything and it's a pain to get to, particularly with traffic.

CBA is a tremendous venue and that would have been a fantastic idea.

I loved watching his 5-on-3 play, he was single handedly shutting down Duck passing lanes with his Rob Scuderi-esque stick checks.

The Ducks kids have a really high skill level but you could tell they haven't played together. Once the Kings adjusted to the Ducks speed that was pretty much the game. It was too much individual play against the Kings better positional play.

Bobkov's nickname in Norfolk is Bobblekov and you could see the results last night. I was really disappointed that Gibson didn't play. I would much rather have seen him in there instead of Igor.

Gibson will play in the next game, obviously. The kings looked like an actual team while the ducks tried to do everything individually. Even with the outcome it was great to be able to watch some hockey again.

Gibson is gonna be something special I feel. He reminds me so much of Quick. Hes gonna make the next game close.

I was there and man, was it a bummer. The 3rd period was absolutely atrocious. I was also looking forward to seeing Gibson and I was disappointed that he didn't play, but he wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game. The Ducks have some work to do.

I think it is safe to say Gibson is a stud and he has blown me away with his play with the men at the world tournament I am just glad the Devils won't have to see to much of him

Ducks should do better tonight, all the Kings are scratching some pretty good players. Berube, Vey, Pearson, Toffoli, Auger, Deslauriers, and MacDermid are all sitting out for LA.

Disappointing. I would have like to see how the Ducks kids responded after having their asses handed to them last game.

Yep. Oh well, hopefully the big club can repeat the kind of regular season they had last year.

Jordan Weal was a beast the other night.

Just so you guys know the game today will be shown on the kings website

Weird that Peter Holland didn't play in either of these games. Do they not consider him a prospect anymore? Is he being given the 4th line center spot?

I think the obvious thing to take from this game is that the Baby Kings without their top prospects are better than Canadian Jr. Players because we could beat Gibson.
