I am not surprised that the Baby Sens had more skill up front. Even when I was looking at the rosters this morning with I knew the Baby Pens would have problems against Lazar, Puempel, Stone and Pageau.

He needs to show that he can stay healthy. He hasn't been able to do that so far unfortunately.

Finally some hockey. Harrington and maatta will be our 2nd pairing defenseman in 3 years. Letang and Despres will be first.

Yes, they could probably grab a B-list prospect for him. I don't know if I'd call that "substantial" or not. He's not gonna get you a top prospect though.

Their forward group was very polished and experienced for sure.

Did Ruopp play? I'm interested in seeing how he develops. Could be a good 3rd pairing guy, and a physical presence we need more of on the blue line.

He did not, nor did Dumoulin. I expect both will play on Saturday.

Could Shero shop Pouliot for a good forward prospect? My thought was he was drafted as insurance for when Letang's deal came up. Now that Letang is signed long term, he doesn't really have a place on this team in the future, especially with Maata, Harrington, and Despres ahead of him developmently.
