Bill do you see Nicushkin starting the season with Dallas, or does his KHL contract prohibit him from doing so?

Nichuskin can start the season in Dallas but if he does not make the team, he will go back to Russia rather than the AHL. I fully expect that he will make the team out of camp.

Yes, he could start in the NHL this season. He has said he will either play in the NHL or KHL (in other words, he would go back to Russia rather than accepting an AHL assignment).

It's a contract year... he'll probably play better than last season! (surprising as he's not Russian!)
