I think we would be pretty good trading partners, you have young D men to spare and we have too many Top 6 Centers. Ribeiro, Stastny as your top 2, Hanzal as your 3rd line center, move vermette to the wing. Not a bad lineup down the middle

I'd hope they move Hanzal to the wing. Love him at centre...but man the big guy can't win a draw to save his life.

Thats one thing I have always liked about Stastnys game, has been consistently clutch on the draw, Over 52 percentage last season..always around 52-55 year by year

Jets and Yotes have a nice luxurywith their young D-Core as it stands plus the D prospects (Trouba, Runblade, etc) ready to be called up...they can move a guy like Buff or Yandle for a top 6 and fill that hole quickly.

Jets and Yotes have a nice luxurywith their young D-Core as it stands plus the D prospects (Trouba, Runblade, etc) ready to be called up...they can move a guy like Buff or Yandle for a top 6 and fill that hole quickly.

They Yotes have had this Luxury on D for a while now but have yet to make the connection yet that if they move one of the 100 top D prospects for a forward they could be looking real good. I think it would be a lot better for both teams (Col & PHX) to trade with each other, a center for a D. Works much better then trading a Center for a Over the hill goalie

Yandle and Buff both signed long term contracts a few years ago. I don't think it's in the plans for either to be moved.

both have 3 years left on the contract at a modest cap hit. Could see them being traded summer of 2014. Would be worth a boat load of a prospect/young player return to a team looking for a D upgrade. Both teams are not max cap spenders, so internal budgets could come into play. Addition by subtracting cap hits
