It's funny we always sit on here and say yea move this guy or that guy. We never consider how attached to the team and city these guys get. I agree 2.3 is more than fair for Nisk and I've grown to like him over the past 2 seasons but business is business. To say that he is the odd man out though is insanity Ray is unpredictable.

Everytime I think of Niskanen I think of that tool Boston announcer " And Sheriff Shane Hnidy with another to pretty boy Matty Niskanen"

A lot of fans view it as NHL13 where players can be traded with the ease of a few button presses.

From a good 5th to a 6th d-man won't help his case. The signing of Scuderi determined his fate. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Carolina for the right pick or prospect.

John jackaels blog said morrow may be interested in taking 1 year 1 mil with the hawks. At that price I would love to see him back on the 3rd line. Although his play wasn't quite what we expected in the playoffs, I loved his team first attitude. I did really like morrow, we may have given a tad too much for him, but he has that Guerin like attitude on the ice.

He had a split knee cap in the playoffs.

Hell, one year one million, I'd take him in a heart beat. He's slow, but played decent with Sutter (while hurt) on a third line, and the bottom 6 needs some grit. He can also be a net front guy on the second PP unit, which we don't really have.

Send Jeffrey packing with Niskanen and you got a spot and a little cap room.

Count me in at that price (1 year 1M) but I would send Glass packing.

Scuds has expectations and likes Pittsburgh. Plus, sounds like the team has high expectations.

Is like to see a line of jokinen-sutter-morrow on the 3rd. He was awesome for the pens when sid got injured.

personally i loved Sutter and Joki together. I think somebody faster than morrow as a puck retriever would work better. Morrow at times looked slow. I am not sure when he was injured though.

Does that line has potential to be the best 3rd in the league?
