The list of defensemen under 5’11 in the NHL can be counted on two hands, the list of top defensemen under 5’11 can be counted on one (Campbell, Enstrom and…?). - AdamFrench

I think Camara is a lot like Downie when Downie is on his game and is a bit of a leader at the CHL level anyways. Kid can grow a mean beard perfect for the long play off runs the Bruins should be making When I watched him he seemed like a very fun player to watch and like you said doesnt shy away from the nasty |

Seth Griffith should definitely be in the top 10. His size is a concern as you mentioned but there's plenty of guys who do just fine at his size, and he's super fit and dedicated to health. He's over a point per game in both regular season and playoffs after 4 years in the OHL, and has been to the memorial cup several times. This kid is going to muck some barns in the AHL some day soon. |

You think Krug makes it out of camp. I can't see a little d man making this team. - bixll

Yep, Camara has more size, less skill but they're both snapcases that need to be reigned in. Kassian is the other guy I think of. |

Interesting to compare to Luedeke's list (the B's prospect Guru) ... pretty much the same 10 (Luedeke had Krug graduated and Camara down, Knight and O'Gara in the top 10). But otherwise same names, shuffled a bit. Interested to see how the Dallas kids pan out. It would be nice to see some youth that can produce on that 3rd line like the Wheeler-Krejci-Ryder days. |
