he needs to be traded like Big Joe while his value is high. 33 and on the decline, expensive and last year we saw him go from amazing in five games to invisible. plays in San Jose where its easy to just more or less float, live in a warm city, and golf during the off season. lovem or hatem its time for a change of the old guard.

The whole Marleau as a power forward thing is just ridicilous.

New Sharks jerseys:

Other than the slight visual changes (most notably on the shoulders and waist), the new jerseys are made of the same material as the Black Armour 3rd jerseys. The players liked this material (it's lighter) and that's why they have worn the Black Armour for playoffs in recent years.

Hmmm - maybe I read it differently. I thought Cam was saying that people think Marleau *should* be able to play as a power forward but just isn't. Which seems pretty accurate actually. He has the size and speed to be a power forward; that's just not his game.

I don't have a problem with him not being a power forward - I have an issue with his lack of consistency. I still like the guy though. Unless we could get a lot back for him, I'd rather see him stay in Teal.

If (and that's a really big if), he gets hot and stays hot through the playoffs, the Sharks have a good chance. Not too many Sharks have the offensive potential that he has.
