After this summer I think I would put the Devils a little higher on the list. It's not every day your best player retires in the prime of his career.

It will be nice for the Devils to have some financial stability, especially with all the young players sure to be looking for multi-million dollar deals in the next couple of years.

if it all happens (and it sounded like it could happen soon- the sale price was established months ago apparently) i am excited to see what if any changes are made and how he is going to run the team, if he will be hands on or what, maybe try to get the fans more involved such as open training camp scrimmages to public, etc

i think one of JVB downfalls was he was too much of a fan of the devils, and didnt want to swallow his pride, and since his l brothers time it made it harder to come up with large funds

should be interesting

I would say that if you put the Toronto 20th since they only have average people and/or rookies. I would put to a certain extend the Oilers in the same boat. So why Oilers at #1?

its hockeybuzz. go to tsn if you want real hockey news/reporting.

this site is a lot like the bleacher report, A LOT of opinion, very little fact.

I only come here to talk hockey with my my fellow Oil fans. I know this site is a joke. It sickens me that a lot of people don't realize this and think that cloutier and eklund actually have a clue

Actually I am. Except of Eberle and Hall who are starting to able to step up right now. You have no proven 40 goals scorer in Yakupov or 90 points in RNH. Schultz could be great on the offensive but look desastrous in his own zone. Rest of the D is as green as new born tomatoes and Goalie could be questionable.

Need I say more?

The Leafs at 20... Are meh ?
You certainly trolling for hits with a ridiculous claim as that !!

Tons of my buds, here in Montreal, are singing the praises of
His uber exciting team...often called the most entertaining
In the division and soon the league...
4 th in the east this year...

Not a playoff team. They got lucky last year. Wasn't enough road for the 18 wheeler to fall off the cliff.

This list isn't "who is the most popular team". It's Cloutier's personal "most interesting teams".

I am not a Leafs fan, therefore I agree with the Leafs placing low. Phaneuf, Kessel, Lupul, um....whoelse...oh, Kadri is kind of interesting. I don't even remember any other names. Maybe 20th would be high on MY list.

Habs could be higher with merely PK's excitement and their continuous experiment with sub 5'9" centermen.

Otherwise I think he's pretty close.

LA fans (and bloggers) make me laugh. "suck it up princess" is my message to the LA blogger...whose uninteresting name I also forget.

You don't watch hockey do you. I lose more respect for your writing every time I come to this site. But you fit right in with the rest of the know nothing bloggers on here. There are a few exceptions. Yost and French are the best of em. You are a fat (frank)in joke though. Its sad that your ego matches your belly cause there's no merit for it whatsoever.
