That actually got me thinking now that it can happen again, a Hawks vs. Wings final would be something I think a lot of people would go out of their way to watch and this is coming from a fan of neither team !

Actually, the Hawks were only indirectly named after a Sauk chief: when Col. McLaughlin (McLaughlin's Manor House Coffee) brought the team into the NHL, he named them after his WWI Blackhawk army division.

So maybe the logo should be some Private peeling potatoes.

I am not really a fan of blue and yellow but for some reason I have always liked the blues logo and jerseys! It is kind of weird that when we are young that actually makes up a large part of how we pick what team we will cheer for if you aren't going to cheer for the local team. I know ill take heat for this but I have always liked the devils simple NJ with horns and tail now im not going to argue that its better then any other logo but it is a logo I have always liked even though it is fairly simple.

im not saying the preds are it and the hawks logo is fine.... but its nowhere near the best in sports. not even in hockey. leafs, bruins and wings are better and im not a fan of any of them.
