But only teams that did, the Leafs didn't. we cannot buyout anyone else this summer.

I'm not familiar with the new buy-out rules. I thought there was an unlimited amount of buy-outs available but we still get dinged for a part of the cap hit. I guess our only hope for clearing that cap space is long term injury?

Because Beauchemin magically turned from a free agent signing into Lupul and Gardiner for the Leafs. At zero cost. Similar to the free Cody Franson we got.

Burke did a hell of a job while he was with us. Nonis will continue the good work.
