I'm not as worried about starting the season with Vanek as I am starting it with Miller. Unless we sign Miller to an extension we're going to be stuck with nothing when he leaves. And a goalie isn't so easy to move later in the season.

Keep Miller and Vanek and finish 9th...great plan. Tank the season and get top pick in draft. Its the only way a superstar player is ever coming to buffalo.
