Clifford unfortunately has developed a habit of using his head to block punches.

Several concussions later his game does not appear to be as physical as he once was.

the playoffs his rookie year was the peak for clifford. he got waxed one too many times in fights and agreed, just not the same player. makes you wonder why the kings carried a useless player like westgarth for so long when clifford was the one having to drop the gloves all the time.

When told to "look out for your a$$", private Jen Li Chung did exactly as he was told.

Isn't it great to have a coach that keeps their players in check but then again if I had to live in Philly I'd probably be drunk off my arse every day also.

Good analysis on Carcillo. He's one of those players you usually love if he is on your team and hate if he is playing against your team.

Way to take a cheap shot at a city you've never been to. Stay classy Los Angel...oh, wait, nevermind.

Unfortunately, you're correct. The only thing LA has over any other city now is the weather.

That's like saying the NJ shore is Philadelphia. California "cities" like LA and San Diego are actually small cities that just claimed every outlying suburb in a 50-mile radius and called it their own.

good luck danny! you're going to a good situation & playing for a coach who will utilize you properly. I can't wait till mid season when chicago is scouring the trade wires to add toughness because their stars are getting rung & bollig & others are not the answer! plus richie & carter i am sure lobbied for you as well! fun to watch you play with fras & clifford against raffi & others!

LA??? I agree on SD, great place as it is. But try a quick google search on just the city of LA, population and area. Not even close.

That said, living in NYC I see Philly enough to know it certainly has a lot going for it as well. Although personally prefer the short drive to AC.

I travel for my job and have spent significant time DC, NYC, Dallas, Houston, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Cleveland, San Francisco, Orange County, Ft Lauderdale, Las Vegas, and several European cities. Center City Philadelphia and its surrounding neighborhoods are my hands-down favorite. Very walkable with an outstanding cultural, historical, and food/drink scenes. Only Boston compares IMO.

As long as you stay out of North Philly and West Philly that is. But every city has those neighborhoods.
