Would The Peg entertain offers for Bogo and Wheeler?

Would they accept a d-man more affordable but still serviceable in Gunnarson along with a prospect Blacker and a 2nd round pick in 2014?

I don't think Little will get the same number Wheeler does but I could be wrong. Arbitration is just part of the process and shouldn't alarm anyone. That being said, it would be nice to have some of the RFA's locked up BEFORE deadlines happen. I guess that's not how Chevy plays the game.

I doubt that would even start the conversation. But if the Jets are open to dealing Bogo, I hope that Nonis makes a strong offer for him. Perfect D man to help take the pressure off Phaneuf.

gardiner is the starting point of any Bogo trade, wont even get the conversation started if you offer any other dman.

Redmond and Postma are 2 Dman that you might be able to steal away from the Jets, I think they have underrated talent

Very telling. Jets move to Quebec city in 3 years.

I prefer to look at the big picture and see the 5 arbitration cases as a formality on the player's part. Chevy has been busy with the draft and then dealing with his UFAs. He qualified the RFA's and they filed the arbitration papers. There could always be a trade in the works. I would be very surprised to see any of the big three RFA's moved though. If they do end up at arbitration I will be concerned, but until that happens I still trust Chevy's schedule.

I dont think Bogo will get that high of a salary, comparable contract should be Erik Johnson who signed a 4 year at 3.75 a season deal. I wouldnt pay Bogo that much with his injury and consistency issues

With Antropov,Wellwood and Burmistrov gone, Scheifele is definitely making your team next season

Most likely as the 2nd line centre unless you consider Olli Jokinen your 2nd line centre...

Agree completely. When you consider that Olli will be long gone before Scheif is up for a new contract they will be fine.

We'll take Ladd back in Chicago...that should free up some cap space.

I'm not worried yet that the free agents want out or that Cheveldayoff is not getting the job done. If we've learned anything, it is that Cheveldayoff does not do things the conventional way and so until something catastrophic happens I'm going to trust that he knows what he's doing. It may frustrate the crap out of us fans and look like things are unsettled with the lack of info, but up until this point I think Chevy's done great.

Bogosian, Wheeler, and Little are all thinking about Enstrom's 5.75 million a year.
What a ridiculous contract that is. Not going to miss Postma or Tangradi. Third time around for arbitration for Wheeler.... interesting.

I think Bogosian would be nuts to accept a 6 year deal at 4.whatever.

I think you made a good move for Hustlechuck. Whatever you paid, he will work his fanny off to earn it.

Postma is a quality player, was very good for the Ice Caps... could very well be a bottom 4 NHLer
