Still don't know exactly how to feel. Not terribly familiar with him as a player.

MPS is a tough player to lose, but I'm not too too perturbed. Made hoped we could have given a slightly lesser additional asset given STL's cap situation.

Solid deal for the Oilers. Perron is ready to step right into a top 6 role with the Oilers, and he's young enough that he can grow with the young nucleus in Edmonton. I still haven't given up on MP as a player though. His age combined with his size and speed still make him a potential future top 6 guy on a good team. Nobody really knows if he'll figure it out, but a fresh start may help him, and he's going to a good, well coached team. Solid deal for both teams.
