Congrats on being part of the round table. It's pretty neat that the Bolts reached out to the blogger community.
Nice job sir!
Looking forward to camp! |

I see him on the second line and maybe some PP first unit defenitely second unit. Probably 45-50 points with a good line. I see Steven Weiss is coming on the market, injured last season but usually a good scorer and can play the 2c slot. He would be good with Killorn and Weiss. |

Weiss would be good with Killorn and Weiss?
I think he'd be a fit, but I can't see it happening.
I also agree with your Drouin assessment. |

Purcell with Stamkos and Marty, bugsy if he stays on the third line, PPslot at times and you can mix and match the bottom two lines. |

Bugsy with Thompson or Johnson and Panik or Palat would be a good line. |

Without some D-men in front of those two young goalies Drouin better be able to score because without some better D they'll be winning games 5 to 4. |

I think that's probably the plan. |

I know the lightning are in need of a 2c. However, how is the depth down the middle in the bottom 6? |

Alot of our D problems was the system and positioning. Our younger players are better back checkers Panik, Killorn, Palat, Stammer and the good defensive teams always have the help of the forwards which we have rarely seen here. Cooper will bring a better D system next year and if the Defense stays in position with help the GAA will drop. |

Juniors...unless you want him to have all kinds of shoulder issues like Hall and RNH because hes too skrawny to play in the NHL |

Johnson and Thompson down the middle with Panik, Malone, Palat, Pyatt, Labrie and Crombeen filling out the ranks. Connelly is a question mark but a good possibility we will know at camp. |

He's actually surprisingly stocky for a short guy. He's got thick legs and a solid center of gravity. He's not built like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins at all. |

You got a couple gems on the back end in the draft. Fantastic! Looking forward to re-alignment. - Michael_Stuart
I feel I'm one of the few positive fans that feels the same way. I think Darcy hit this draft out of the park. Should be a fun next few years watching these kids grow up. I just love that the Sabres finally seem to have an identity that they are after. Looking forward to the new division as well. Going to be a tough one with Detroit added as well. |

Do you think Risto will make the lineup ? He looks like he has one hell of a shot from the point |

Same here. I can't remember the last time we've had a defender that made people pay for coming into the zone. If everything goes as planned we should have one of the better defenses in the league in the next few years. Still all depends on Big Tyler's offseason workout this summer. Kid needs to sharpen up. |
