Unofficially, but they were still interested in talking to him to see if he would play in CBJ.
Didn't realize CBUS had 3 picks also. This draft could put them over the top as a perennial contender. Keep the picks!

Jesus I can only imagine what some KHL team is offering Bob.... 10-15/year tax free?

Then again if a guy would rather play in the KHL because of money I say good riddance. But that's just me. Obviously the leafs dont have a vezina winner in the same scenario so what do I know.

What a shame it would be for Columbus to lose Bobrovsky

Going to have a tough time signing Kipper when he's still under contract with Calgary for next season.

He's not what he once was, but it wasn't so much Kipper playing bad as the entire team playing bad in front of him. Then add in the injury.

And when the alternative is Thomas. This is the guy that took a year off just for the sake of it. Is he still in any kind of game condition? Is his reflexes and instincts still as sharp?

Alarming that were turning towards goalies in the twilight of their carreer's .....maybe Naby can also a viable option for a year or so.

If we lose Bob, the Mason trade starts to look not so good. Not that I think he would have been the answer, but it still makes that trade look slightly painful if you lose the guy who was supposed to replace him.
