As long as Miller is not a Sabre I'll be happy.

It's obvious that Darcy isn't going anywhere, so I am hoping we move out as many players as possible this weekend. I don't care what teams they get moved to or who we even get back in return. Just blow up the whole roster already! Should be a crazy weekend

If Miller is a Flyer and we had to give any notable asset for him, I think I will cry.

Some twitter rumor has it as Miller for #11, Coburn, and Read.

If that happens then I think I'll quit being a Flyers fan. Break it down though, how does that make sense? What's the point of buying out one above-average headcase that you could've kept for 1 more season just to trade 2 very valuable assets and Coburn for another above-average headcase who will only stay for that 1 year? It's illogical.

Of course it is. It's twitter. There's no way the Flyers should do that trade. How do you feel about Miller for the #11 straight up?

If we get the #11 for Miller, would you trade the #8 and #11 to move into the top-5?

Not so good... The value is right but it's not right for us. If we pick Pulock at 11 then we'll have an offensive stud with great IQ to replace Kimmo when he retires. If something of similar value could be worked without using the 11 then I'd be more open to it. I just really think they should keep the 11 and pick Pulock, as he really is the 2nd best defenseman in this draft behind no one but Seth Jones.

Would I? Sure. Would any team in the top 5 do it? No.

Or does 8,11 and 16 get you in the top 3 ?

I think Carolina would. They need D and 1 of Risto or Nurse will be available at #8.

Imagine if it wasn't up to the team? Lets say you could forcibly swap picks if you had enough Draft credit.

Each Draft pick has X value. you gather up enough with multiple picks and you force your way into the draft spot you want.

THAT would make things interesting.

If this draft is similar to '03 then would you rather have
Nathan Horton (#3 2003)

or

Braydon Coburn (#8 2003)
Jeff Carter (#11 2003)
Steve Bernier (#16 2003)

IF for some reason you guys had all 3 of those picks, I would rather just hold onto them in this draft.

I wouldn't want that simply because of the pressure it would put on an 18 year old kid. "We sold the farm for you, no go out there and save the franchise." It's too much.
