I've seen some mocks that have Jason D. late late first round. I thought more of a late second high third.

I think a lot of teams are going to be screwed this year. So many players from the qmjhl. The game just doesn't translate unless your a top 10 pick or a goalie.

I'm with you on that, don't really understand the late first projections considering his inconsistent year. You'd have to be really sold that he can develop past that.

I wouldn't say they have "fallen". More just the players in front of them are better.

Still not sure why the hell the coach's tried to make Saad a grinder, that just wasn't his game. Guess the BHawks are happy though, forcing him into that role hurt his numbers so badly they got to lap him up later than anybody expected

This is a ridiculously outdated line of thinking, you'd think that with the last 3 memorial cups going to the Q that people would start to wake up, but I guess there's just too many Don Cherry's in the world who never change their opinions.

The Q has come a long way in the last 10-15 years.

...seems like a few decent players to me, but I won't spend all day researching just to embarass one statement made out of ignorance. Just know that in 5 years there'll be as many if not more players in the NHL out of the Q than the WHL.

Can't see the Jackets taking another goalie. Not with Dansk, York the other kid they drafted last year and Bobrovsky all in the system.

York's an ECHLer at the moment and Dansk crapped the bed pretty hard in his first taste of the small ice. Might want some added security. They have a lot of picks so they can go in a lot of directions...lucky bastards

Just what the Leafs need a 5’11 164lb ragdoll plus when was the last time the Leafs went to the QMJHL for a draft pick? You have to go 2008, Mikhail Stefanovich & Joel Champagne and only 4 picks in the last 10 years from that league, so history dictates they will not go there again especially 2nd round and beyond, they rarely do.
