What happened to the days of selling off Paajarvi for potato chips? Why does he all of a sudden have value?

I wonder who EDM takes at 37. I want them to take Ian Mccoshen. 6'3 D great skating D man, committed to play at Boston College next year.

From what I've seen he'll go late first, but I hope he slips.

I won't lie and act like I watched the Oilers a whole lot this season, but according to the statistics, he had a very similar season as he did his rookie year (+/- is really the only notable difference.)

I think he turns out to be a great 3rd liner winger or a fringe 2nd line winger. I think it's just EDM taking advantage of the cap to get Coburn, while PHI's still getting some value back. Marincin's an A prospect too.

Really? That's the best you could come up with is Martin Marincin and Magnus Paajarvi for Braydon Coburn? Where's your reliable source deep choke that hasn't given you one valid piece of info ever?

Emery would be a great fit with the Oil. I think he will win the starter job after a month or two as well and is likely a better goalie than Dubnyk

I hope they come out with one of Lindholm, Monahan, or Nichushkin in the first

Second round I hope they come out with one of Jarry, Comrie, Mccoshen, Santini, Bowey, and Pesce with their 2 picks

Why do Vancouver give him to Philly for free? Why not just put him on waivers?

what? Wouldn't that be the exact same thing but he could go to a team in the west n VAN has to eat some salary?

If Valeri is still available at 7 I think that's going to be a steal. Would love it

still, how is putting him on waivers better than dealing him for a small asset?

I blogged that Coburn wouldn't come to Edmonton. Apparently, I am wrong. Coburn, who has a modified NTC, has Edmonton on his list of teams he'd accept a trade to. I know, I know...I'm shocked too.

There has been a lot of people that make that assumption. Sometimes it kinda makes sense considering how many pussies are now in the NHL and cannot handle the cold and poop weather that parts of Alberta have. Coburn is from Calgary so he knows exactly what's involved. That and he sees the potential of the team being built.

Learn from this and don't assume that everyone will avoid playing in the great white north...there are still some players left that remember it is a frozen game.

I doubt Gillis wants to lose cap space for a third rounder.

Feaster is a dumbass so Im hopefull he passes on Monahan if he's still there. Plus theres lways that one or two guys that split from the top 5-10 area. Fowler and Forsberg slipped pretty far.. HOPEFULLY that guy this yer is Monahan. My honest prediction though is...

COL - MacKinnon, C
FLA - Jones, D
TBL - Drouin, LW
NSH - Barkov, C
CAR - Nichuskin, RW
CGY - Monahan, C
EDM - Lindholm, C

Id be happy with any of these players though
