Terry Jones twitter (I assume if the oilers fans are gunna take him seriously then he's gotta have some sort of credibility). Like I said before I'd put my money on that 7th pick being moved, it's just so inconvenient for the Oilers.

I would take ristolainen before nurse but that's just me .

Me too,
I love Ristolainen.
I think he's the most NHL-ready defenseman in the draft
He doesn't have the offensive upside of Nurse or Jones, but he's more solid defensively...
He's just nasty to play against and does a good job clearing the crease

As it stands now,
Lindholm at 8, and Ristolainen at 16 would be amazing

I do think we end up with more 1st round picks though

And I'm beginning to really like the idea of moving up to #4
Barkov, at 17, scored as much as Granlund did as a 20yr old
And he's already up to 210lbs
Kid is gonna be a beast

A deal involving Myers and 7 seems possible
They've supposedly been interested in Stafford in the past... Would Sekera and him be enough? Prob not, I'd guess
I think Vanek would be of definite interest,
And Miller could possibly be, depending on how they view Dubnyk...
But they'd want either to agree to an extension as part of the trade

I'd love to get as many top25 picks as possible
It's unlikely this draft is as good as '03,
But it does have the potential to be fairly close

Zadarov could very well be NHL ready at 6'5 and 230 he is said to have a fairly high ceiling as well and can be very mean isn't the least bit afraid to drop the mitts. If the Devils where taking a D he would be my guy but Ristolainen would be just as good of a pick if the route you are going are D

don't know to be honest I think you hit a clump of really good D at the 9-15 range then get back to forwards I wouldn't say its not likely he seems to be one of the tougher guys to predict where he will go. If I can remember correctly I read from another poster that all the different sites have him ranked anywhere from 10-just about 30. If you have a good offensive D prospect he might be the guy you take to pair with him if you have a big mean shut down prospect you mind go with someone is a little more talented offensively but apparently he isn't to bad offensively so I mean he could go anywhere if all the forwards are taken by the 9th then he is who I would want the Devils to take to pair with Larsson

It is, but I have to think that much like Kassian, if Darcy deals him it will be for another prospect around his age (I'm thinking Skinner?) 2nd pair D like Sekera are a dime a dozen so I doubt they trade 7 for that and I think they're still a ways away to be thinking Miller or Vanek.

I have heard some great things about him though or his potential I do worry though some one 230 at 18-19 he is going to be like 250 when he is thirty and could be very slow but right now I don't think skating is an issue right now with his size

What are the expectations for Foligno next season? he kind of had a let down year this year ? or was that people just thinking to much of him after the short period he was up the end of the year before.

See I have seen him all over the place but you could be right. Its hard to say I think that is a decent offer but until there is a rumor we wont know what the asking price is for him it could be crazy even though he only has 1 year left and Pitts hands could be tied. If NJ had any depth at the F position or F prospects and a first next year I would offer them the 9th pick for him and a lower level prospect the pysyk

I'd do it
Pitt would have to think about it bc of their cap situation, but they do have 2 or 3 young D-men ready to become NHL-ers

I don't think he is someone you get excited about when you watch him play unless he is beating the crap out of someone but I think he is like Luke Schenn but way bigger lol very reliable and can play big minutes he isn't someone you take in the top 5 maybe somewhere 10-15 range but I would take him before 20 for sure
