i love the armed forces, love the ranger jacket, in and of itself, but just do not agree that it gets passed around for anyone to wear. disrespect.

Coming back to Boston with a split is huge for the Bruins. If they keep pounding the Blackhawks defenseman with heavy hits they can continue to create turnovers. Lucic is running around imposing his will on any Blackhawk in his path and it is a great sight to see. And to think some people wanted him gone last summer and the beginning of the year.

go b1tch to the army rangers who gave ference the jacket or the hawks for not winning. don't worry. the jacket goes away and something else gets passed around soon.

i actually feel bad for saying something. i think it is cool. but i know for a fact it isnt right that you pass around a rangers jacket, like a trophy someone earned, when in reality, they didnt earn anything close to what it takes to put that jacket on.

i just missed the article, im sorry for being ignorant, obviously i am being ignorant, i just know from a personal standpoint, without reading why you have the jacket, that one jacket is awesome, and probably means alot, to a lot of people, and i dont want to take that away from anyone, but i know people who think that it is an abuse to use the ranger jacket for the bruins. and it surely is an abuse.

I'd be more concerned with the poor decision making and lack of composure coming from the Blackhawks defenseman than what the Bruins do postgame if I were you. Some of us like to actually talk hockey in Ty's threads, not bicker about what goes on postgame.

It was given to them by the Army Rangers themselves, it's not something some guy picked up at a surplus store and thought hey this would be cool, if that were the case I would somewhat agree with your stance but it's not.

The Bruins defensive group has been very good at keeping Chicago's big guns off the score sheet through 2 games. The combination of Chara and Seidenberg have been good at neutralizing the Hossa/Toews/Saad line, they're going to get their chances but I don't see them running wild in the Bruins defensive zone. The Bruins just need to keep wearing down the Chicago defenseman with a heavy forecheck and cycling the puck down low.

Toews/Hossa have struggled offensively from the perspective of putting points (assists/goals) on the board this entire postseason - this is nothing new. However, those two have arguably been two of the best - if not the best - forwards for the Hawks throughout their post season run.

Excuses for Bostons win

1-Victor Gretzky Stalberg didn't play
2-Refs cheated
3-Blackhawks were tired

I am here to say the Bs are a brutal, dominating, balanced, insanely gritty and high character team. I CRINGE when Hawks fans are saying we win this in 5...lets take two in Boston and clinch at home. WTF?

I think both teams are GREAT. The Hawks have a more dynamic group of forwards, but the Bruins have a more physical element in their game. Neither team promises to do much on the PowerPlay and both goalies are playing strong.

What worries me about last night is...did the Hawks "fall off" or did the Bruins slowly start to exercise physical will against the Hawks d-men on the forecheck. The game got progressively worse for Chicago. Had the Bs took momentum and then the Hawks took it back then we could just chalk it up to a prized fight with heavy weights trading punches, but as the game wore on the Bruins looked better and better...turning otherwise talented players like Brent Seabrook, Nick Leddy and Nik Hjmarlson into uselss pansies on the ice.

We already know the Blackhawks have NO answer for the Lucic line...now you guys may have stumbled onto another potent line...the Seguin/Kelly line worries the hell out of me...there you have two high character players and Seguin has been flying. Is that another line we can't control? Then you put the Bergeron line out there to stuff the Sharp line (which seems to be our only line worth a damn right now)....

The Bruins deserved to win last night and the argument isn't even close and I give kudos to your team for pulling through.

Bottom line is Monday will be interesting. Do the Hawks turn the tide or do the Bruins continue what they started in Game 2? I worry the latter, but I also know just like the Bruins, the Hawks also have some elite talent, high character players and champions as well.

My hope...steal one in Boston and make it a best out of 3 and then it basically is anyone's ballgame.

Good luck, but not too much of it.

It wreaks of 7 games. But that's ONLY IF the Hawks turn the tables a bit tomorrow night in our own zone.

Some of the play was clownshoes last night by Seabrook and Hjmarlson. Those are our two best 'stay at home' guys...if they suck with the puck in our own zone then we're hosed. Put it this way, Michael Rosival was easily our best defenseman last night. Now Rosy is a nice, solid professional, but when HE'S your stud d-man, then something isn't right.

I also want Lucic to be tested for drugs. ...is he from another planet? He's a beast out there. ... and don't let Hawks fans fool you guys when the trash him, of all the players Hawks fans have been wanting to trade for over the past year or so, Milan Lucic is at the top of that list. Gawtdamn to have a monster like him on the ice.
