Good series so far. Nobody was going to win this series in 4. It'll likely go the distance. |

I was really disappointed in the lack of hitting by the Hawks tonight. I know that's not their game but in game 1 they set the tone early with hits by Seabs , Bollig and Shaw. Tonight they reverted back to form. If the d-men were looking over their shoulders tonight think what will happen when they play in Boston on their home ice. The ineptness of the power play makes thing s worse. If I'm Julian I'm telling them to hit the Hawks every chance you get and if you cross the line and they get a power play no big deal they won't score anyway. |

Boston didn't EARN IT ? Toews is DELUSIONAL. |

Rask definitely out shone Crow tonight...but no complaints about Crow from me tonight. He gave us every chance.

It was funny listening to a certain sports radio station during the week, as to how fast they felt the Hawks would dispatch the Bruins based on game 1. They must have watched a different game, as the Hawks could easily be down 2-0. The Bruins pretty much controlled the game after the first period, and they looked like they were on the powerplay for most of the O.T. Should Chicago not win one of the next two, they're done. Same guys willing to go into the dirty areas, and the same guy not willing. Wonder if Stalberg gets released from the dog house. |

Boston played a good game tonight and deserved the win. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more OT's before the series is over. |

While the Hawks outshot the Bruins, the Bruins outhit the Hawks, and did so enough to make too many Hawks panic with the puck or back off.
This, more than anything else, is what made the game increasingly difficult to watch. After a dominant 1st period by the Hawks, the Bruins came out flying, poke checking and hitting, and— I hate to say this— intimidated the Hawks out of their game. Q and company are going to have to seriously regroup or the Blackhawks are going to go down the way of the Penguins.
Losing the would-be 2nd goal to the whistle was a bummer, but we can't blame the loss on this. The Hawks got their asses handed to them... |

So much easier to enjoy when you don't have a rooting interest. I can't take this either. |

I agree...Boston kicked the crap out of CHicago tonight. Give the other team kudos...then again Boston didn't give the Hawks any credit after the game 1 win either.
Worst Player Award goes to Brent Seabrook with honorable mention to all other defensive players except for Rosival...and we need a goal from #19...he has 1 goal in the entire playoffs. Not good enough. Sharp was the only consistently good forward tonight, though I thought Hossa, Frolik and Kruger were also good.
The rest pretty much sucked.
And Crawford did not get outplayed by Raask. Both goalies played great, certainly good enough to win. |

Blackhawks had control for the first 25 mins or so.
Julien made some adjustments and the Bruins answered. Adjusted some lines and the forechecking scheme.
Q didn't respond to the B's changes.
Way to many giveaways to continue to expect the puck to stay out of the net.
Crawford with some excellent saves to bailout teammates multiple times. Some fortuitous posts also. Maybe could of had the winner, but by no means his fault. Seabs with a poor wrap pass, Bollig with stone hands and then Seabs overplays the pass and gives up a scoring chance that never should have been.
Two very evenly matched teams, I imagine very game will be like the first two And can go either way.
