Barkov isn't projected as a 1st line center? I'm obviously reading the wrong scouting reports on him. I know he's known for being two way player but he still has from what I've read to be a pretty high skill level. |

You must be reading different scouting reports as me. Barkov easily projects as a top line centre and would probably be first overall or a definite consideration in any of the past few years.
I wouldn't be surprised if barkov passes drouin if Tampa wants size at the centre position.

Let me complete the sentence for you PM: Barkov isn't projected as a 1st line Center COMING OUT OF THE DRAFT
Chicago's D is for sure underrated. They are shot blocking champions, b-hawks in 6. |

Paul, Barkov injured his shoulder, not his knee. That's much less scary than a knee injury. |

"Chicago has the better power play."
Actually, one can find a better power play at the bottom of a box of Cracker Jack ... if you can actually find a box of Cracker Jack, these days ...
I also think your defensive assessment is off; the Hawks' D is better, IMO.
So, I guess they even out. |

VERY interesting that you have us taking Drouin. I think he is the most talented player in the draft. I also think that Nichushkin is the most NHL ready. I want to trade down myself... offers? |

I am not quite as ecstatic as I once was about Nashville's most realistic options for the draft. Barkov has great vision but he doesn't quit have the offensive tools the players in front of him have. Nichushkin, on the other hand, has the offensive tools but lacks consistency. Like Paul said, hopefully Drouin falls in our lap. Maybe Tampa decides they need a more defensively responsible center and drafts Barkov or maybe they really like Nichushkin; not likely.
Notice the Willoughby stated that Nashville needed a player that can score on a consistent basis and still drafted Nichushkin... |

What are you looking for or in need of the most?
I am guessing the 8th pick overall is as far down as you would like to move? |

21 and an autographed picture of Adam French?
I think Nichushkin goes 3 to Tampa Bay. |
