Good Luck JJ, I've been rooting for the Hawks for a while now and this is where I get off the Bus. Cheers. |

john,
has anybody looked into what Toronto did that worked against the Bruins? I didn't pay much attention to that series, but I'm curious if there were certain factors that the Blackhawks could mimic to give them an edge. |

Lolz I have been saying this since the secon round of these playoffs.
They have primarily one line of majority scoring.
Krejci takes it to another level in the playoffs. Shutting him down will limit their opportunities. Of course easier said than done but it should definitely be a priority for Q. |

Although it seemed that way against the Pens.....is that a good point of reference when measuring their output. Are those numbers skewed because of poor defense and bad goal tending of the Pens? |

i guess it could be. but the eye test does tell a story. they finally look really strong as a unit. took a while for them to get used to jagr and vice versa. |

That could be the case as well but only time will tell. So hard to get a feel on what this series will be like....... |

thoughts on bollig lines today at practice? i can't believe Bickell would not see time on PP in favor of Saad and Bolland. kompon is an 'tactical genius' - Sconnie
Explain about Bollig today? |

I live in the Indianapolis area, which isn't a hockey city. People have asked me who I see winning. My response has been "one of the teams in 6 or 7." I really have no idea on this one. |

>JJ, love the scoring stat "nuggets"
>A healthy-enough Bolland (who knows) really, really helps the Hawks
>If the Hawks move their feet for 60 minutes and get into a rhythm -- meaning the puck gets out of their zone fast and up-the-ice -- advantage Hawks
>If the Hawks play 5-man D like Period 3 of Game 4 in LA -- holding LA to 2 SOG in their own building -- advantage Hawks
>As you say, other than 1 game, Bruins didn't score much against a woeful Pens goalie and D -- not to mention some ancient, floating wingers
>Think the best of the Hawks beats the best of the Bruins

Hmmmm. Sounds like Bollig is in for sure. Felt things have been clicking since Bolland moved back to line 4. Really don't understand the need to play the chess match, especially when Bollig will likely see 4 minutes of ice time. Seems silly. |

The reality was Toronto mimiced a blackhawk style of hockey with less talent and experience. You will see the authentic version starting Wed. |

He gone! Priorities to re-sign Bickell, Kruger, and Leddy. Stalber is the odd man out because of the cap. |

It is the Shawn Thornton answer. Boston will waste a roster spot on him, so like an idiot, Q will dress a guy that can play 5 minutes max too.
Instead of sending out another guy that can play, you know, like they have all year....but hey...will see... |

Stalberg will thrive elsewhere...If I were him, I would be gone. Like Brouwer, go someplace you are wanted and get some respect. |

One thing B52 brings is energy and rested legs. Also can be a target for Bruin troublemakers—taking pressure off the others. If he and any Bruin take 5 minute PIMs, it's likely advantage Hawks, too. |
