Vancouver is heavily scouting the pool at the combine, to see who's the best off the boards.

Lazar will either be Jeff Carter or Valteri Filpulla.

The true test for him will be next season when he is the guy on offence for the Oil Kings who have most of the team graduating.

Some scouts have Ristolainen going in the early 20's. Could you see that happening Adam?

I think the Nucks need to go for a pure offensive forward or another centre. If go D they need a pure shut down type or puck mover as all there D are like you said that top 4 all around game.

Thoughts on Rychel, Gauthier, Petan, Erne and then Morrissey or Morin?

Im hoping Rychel or Gauthier will be around but who knows especially around mid 20s anything can happen. Was schocked Gaunce fell last year.

Only if the idea of waiting one year as he serves his contract and military obligation sours people. He's better than Nurse imo.

I saw him and Zadorov in mid 20s in a few places which I was surprised about. Zadorov kinda looks like a chara type player would like to see him in a Nucks jersey.

Unless Domi or Horvat are on the board at 21 I doubt Rychel makes it passed the Leafs. Just my honest opinion.

I meant if he actually has a career. He's either going to a great shooting center with considerably average playmaking ability, or a very middling #2 center.

At 24 that'd be a great pick for Vancouver. At 7 or 10 like some people say I think it would be a remarkably average pick.

Have you heard anything about Domi's diabetes being a concern? I hope it doesn't affect his standing.

I would think his lack of defensive awareness and size being exploited majorly in the Mem Cup might hurt him more than diabetes. He was dominated along with Griffith who and Broadhurst, they all got run over completely outside of the PP.

He almost reminds me a bit of Carter Ashton or Landon Ferraro and their draft scouting but he played on a good team.

You can teach defence, you can't teach size so that's really the only thing that'd really be a detriment to him in my eyes. Even then, small players get picked all the time.

Still wouldn't be unhappy with him. I know this is a hard question to actually predict, but who do you see dropping from the slightly less than elite group this year? Like Fowler, or Forsberg from last year.

Krejci is like 6ft or a hair under that. He just looks small because half the Bruins are 6'4.

Domi is like 5'9 and anytime a player is listed under 5'11 its usually a generous height.

Domi could end up being 5'11" when all is said and done, and the kid is not a pushover either. All I meant with the Krejci comparison is that you don't need to be 6'3" to be a successful centre in the NHL.

Monahan is the guy I think will fall. Older player, didn't distance himself like many thought he would, PP was his saving grace until Ceci was traded and then things got difficult for him.

McCarron is interesting, hadnt heard much about him
