Call me crazy.. but if Weiss doesn't resign, I wouldn't mind Roy signing here. I think Bjugstad will be starting the season in San Antonio. Salary will have to be reasonable. |

Ryder would be great for Nashville. He's very skilled, is a great replacement for Erat, and he will be great with our younger players. He might need to play left wing because we have so many right handers but, if we sign him, he would be a great player to have. |

the fact that he does not currently have a contract with the habs nor do they plan on giving him one is but a minor obstacle  |

I respect your view on Ryder but after seeing him play twice for the Habs, I can guaranty you; you will be disappointed in his play. Ryder is a optimist shooter. In order for him to be productive, he needs a playmaker and a good power forward on his line.
Things Ryder is not!
- good skater
- playmaker
- good fighter for the puck
- faceoff expert
On the flip side, Ryder know where to be to find those juicy rebound around the net. |

- Patrick Roy
- Jacques Plante
- Maurice Richard
