A cup, 2 Art Ross wins, a Lester. B Trophy, a Hart trophy, 2 (maybe 3) Lady Byng's. More than Mats Sundin accomplished and if he's in St. Louis shouldn't have a problem.

Mats is in there mainly for his international play.

Who knows what NHL trophies he'd have if he had anyone to play with. Unfortunately, his team wasn't gifted a bunch of 1st overalls.

When his career is over he'll be a Stanley Cup Champion, a 1000+ point player, winner of multiple awards as you mentioned, I think he easily gets in.

No doubt. The only question they may have is why he wears a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey while playing for Tampa Bay.

You're referring to the 2 1st overall picks the Penguins have had right. The 2 of them, I didn't know two was a bunch.

That seems to be an issue with you?

The crest is different.

He should be in for many reasons but one reason that has less to do with awards is his size. I don't know if there is anyone undersized players have looked up to more then him. He has done lots for the game in that regard and has given lots of young kids that aren't giants hope that they can excel

this is true you know...as much as i love tampa i (frank)ing hate our jerseys, the thought of toronto comes to mind and that is one disgusting thought, we coulda switched to these new jerseys and had black instead of blue with a white bolt and blue helmets and blue pants with black socks that would be cool

and in reply to your article...absoloutely....take away his trophys like you said ...take away his points...who gives a poop...this guy is a class act and should be nominated souly based on that....but it doesnt stop there he DOES have many trophies and tremendous skill and a cup....without any questions he is definately in...if he isnt il stop supporting NHL

the questions being asked shouldnt be "why does he deserve it" there are various answers to that, the question should be "why doesnt he deserve it" ....and there are ZERO answers to that...when you cant find any reasons to not let him in theres an obvious answer

Completely agree, and I'm sure that sort of inspiration is worth more than I could ever express.

See, I actually like the new jerseys more than the old ones. They're simple, clean, and the two color setup is nice. Sure, they look a little bit like the Maple Leafs, but I don't really mind that.
