Makes sense, as Anaheim is in desperate need of goalies. |

So, Bryz looked awful against rookies and fourth line players for the most part. Outside of Oshie and Stastny, its not a roster stacked with talented players. |

WGR said Phoenix and the Caps are teams in on Miller.
I would LOVE Gibson coming back for Miller. What would some trade scenarios look like?

wsh - Tom Wilson and a 2nd
phx - Samuelson a 2nd and a 3rd
FYI - I have no clue who these players are or if they are worth it.. I just basically picked each teams best offensive prospect |

Anaheim wants Miller why? Hackett is our goalie for the future. |

A delusional Sabre Fan's pipe dream: 1st overall pick, a Corey Perry quality player, and a gritty veteran leader with 3 cups on his résumé.
Reality: Somewhere between 15-30 first round draft pick, and a depth player in the mold of Dustin Penner with twice the disappointment potential. |

Anaheim is set a goalie so unless they send Hiller back its not happening. I wouldnt even want Hiller. They prolly wont give Gibson up.
Phoenix prospects im not a big fan of. If he went to the caps I want someone really good back. A proven player. not prospect. I think we are set on goalies with Hackett and Enroth. The Pominville trade showed miller is on his way out.
Miller and 2 firsts for Ovechkin!
I just really am curious what we could get and from who...hopefully someone who can help right away.
I would bet he ends up in PHX as I would hate that lol |

In all seriousness, if Ovechkin were to get traded to Buffalo, he'd probably bolt to the KHL the first chance he got. This city isn't anywhere near high profile enough for him. |

Is he better than Holtby? Probably, but given their comparative age, and Miller's success at Holtby's age, I see a 1 year (slight) upgrade at the expense of one of our only good prospects?
We don't need Miller. It would be better suited to spend that cap space somewhere else. Holtby's splits are better. |
