No WAY, Bergy would be dealt for him, you would need so much more, plus Bergy is Heart and Soul of this B's team. He goes nowhere |

Agreed. One of the most underrated players in the league. Should be a lock for team Canada next year. He can score, win faceoffs and one of the top defensive forwards in the league.

Bergeron, strome or skinner? That's a dream world it would take a lot more to get any of those players expecially Bergeron as IMO is one of Boston's best players. No offence but I think you are over valuing your players, it's like saying the sabres could get Tavares for miller because the isles goaltending looked a bit shakey. |

Ask yourself do these teams make those trades for Edler? The answer to all of them is no. If Edler were that good to bring those players in return do you think you'd want the Canucks to trade him? The fact is while Edler has some serious upside he has shown himself to be inconsistant and hasn't lived up to his potential, teams will have an interest in Edler but they will either want to move their inconsistant player or a player who has upside but, like Edler, hasn't demonstrated it yet. |

I know it's a long shot. I wonder if the Bruins have the money for him after next season. 6 mil for Lucic. You have to figure Bergeron gets that too. And if he does how much money is left for an aging D?
He's a guy they have to think about dealing this summer IMO |

Honestly, as a Flyers fan, I would strongly consider trading Simmonds for Edler. As much as I like Simmonds, the Flyers have several good forwards and a definite need on defense.
It'd definitely depend on the terms involved, but I think most Flyers fans would agree, because they have such a need for a solid, mobile top 4 defenseman like Edler. |

Id rather trade Hartnell...Too many pentalies. Simmonds is younger and faster. |

I'd rather move Hartnell too. Wayne is on a really good deal cap-wise moving forward. As the cap eventually rises he'll be entering his prime making just under 4 mil. Hartnell will be on the eventual decline making just under 5 mil. |

It may take a pick from Vancouver but I would say that certainly meets the requirements of both teams more than any other scenario.

I think they would offload Looch before Bergy, and I am sure there would be a ton of teams looking for a Lucic type.
If the B's trade Bergy I would honestly poop a brick lol

Well, absolutely, I'd prefer trading Hartnell, too. |

Would you do it for Hartnell straight up? If Simmonds was involved, I'd want a pretty high pick back from VanCity, probably 2nd rounder this year. |

Ottawa could use Edler but it would not be a package involving a top roster player. I think they could part with their 1st and Mark Stone though for Edler no problem! |

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH no way you are getting any of those guys... im sorry dude is what 4.5 mil and is an ok dman at best the whole league knows the nucks need to shead cap and no one is going to help them or make it easier, think of the luongo situation. might as well start shoping the sisters to new york now |

First order of business for the Canucks this off season should be to resolve your goalie situation. |

Agreed. Love Hartnell and what he brings, but you need to give up to get. Hartnell is the type of player that, if the Flyers move him, the fanbase will hate in about 4 seconds of his first shift. He's the perfect teammate. That said, if he brings a true top-pairing defenseman, you need to do it. |

I would prefer simmonds for the same reason you would want to keep him. Edler and a third.

Ya the Pens oughta shop Malkin because he decides to play up on his skates like, maybe 1 shift a game. He can easily be the most dynamic offensive player in the game, when he wants to be. |

Canucks need to lower their cap number, they will most likely want Simmonds over Hartnell. |

its upsetting when dupuis (SP?) and kuntiz are scoring more than him let alone some other plugs from other teams... its rather shocking. they are all due for contracts soon too and if fluery keeps this up hes going to find himself playing in florida or phx |

I think the 'Canes would seriously consider this. They need D and after a rough season for him, Skinner might be available. It's the Canucks who might balk at this one. While Skinner could be good, his size and toughness don't really match what the Canucks are looking for. |
