So, two Game 7s in the East. Washington/NYR... as a Flyers fan, whatever shall I do, with two such likable teams? Ha. Screw the Rangers, let's go Caps!
Boston/Toronto - Two more teams I'm contractually obligated to dislike. Only difference is that one of them's won a Cup this decade, one of them hasn't since before my team existed. Gotta pull for the losers. Go Leafs go.
So pissed that I have a meeting and will be out from 7:30 to 9:00 tonight. I want to watch hockey tonight, dammit! |

Hawks will have to be better than they were against the Wild. Thing is, they can and likely will be. The Wild plays a style that gives the Hawks fits. The Wings don't.
Lots of reasons other than luck the Hawks are 7-0-2 against the Wings the last two years. They play very similar styles. But one team is younger, yet in many important ways just as experienced, faster and . . . better.
The Wings get by now on smarts, but that Quenneville guy can coach a little too.

So excited for the Leafs game...the city is buzzing right now, a win tonight would shut all those Leaf haters up for a while...there weren't many people giving the Leafs a chance to contend in this series, let alone have all the momentum heading to a game7...
As for the other series', Hawks & Kings will be playing in the WCF, and Sens will be playing Bruins or Leafs in the ECF... |
