great blog.

you say that if torts doesn't trust kreider, he should just dress newbury. but i doubt torts trusts him any more than kreider. he'd probably get even less playing time

First, I have to say I'm pulling for you guys. How about we see an all Atlantic Division Eastern Conference Championship series. Send off, what has been for years, the best division in hockey with style.

Second, please change your location. I can't read it without seeing a shirtless Crosby.

Starting to see the Dorsett to Prust comparison. Looks like he has a little agitator in him too.

I just read in Carps review that the Bruins plane broke down and had to spend the night in Toronto. Oh boy. A game 7 win tonight and a good chance that insufferable group of leafs fans will wear this place out especially after coming back from 3-1 down

sticking with the it just doesn't matter theme, what really doesn't matter going into tonight is that the Rangers have been outplayed this series overall.

I'd rather look bad and win then look good and lose.

Tonight all the ghosts of Washington Capitals playoff failures past will be in the building.

I think the Capitals are good enough to go all the way to be honest with you. I know we don't usually like to give the other team credit, but they are really good. Some great forwards, a great young defense and a pretty underrated goalie.

Lundqvist looks as good as ever right now, and he may be all we need, if we finally get a lucky bounce or two in that building.

Just like Prust, sometimes I know what I am talking about. Not a lot but on that rare occasion, hahaha.

No matter what Gaborik does in Columbus, this trade was magnificent. Now that Clowe deal, well, that isn't looking so good. Hopefully the Rangers can win, for more reasons than the obvious, one of them being so we can see Clowe help this team in the postseason.

i think clowe might be done. 2 concussions in less than 2 weeks, that usually means they get shut down...

Whatever it is you are going through, I hope you get beyond it, better than you were before it.

We would have never questioned your loyalty in your absence. All the best, Stahlman!

I think the Leafs win tonight. Reimer is starting to get hot and he is a streaky goalie. Bruins are not a high scoring team. In this series alone, without the Krecji line, they have barely tallied anything.

Leafs vs. Rangers would be outstanding, in my opinion. Not taking anything for granted though, this Rangers game tonight already has me checking my pulse.

Was that confirmed as a second concussion? I thought it was a wrist or hand injury.

I need another great memory

nothing is confirmed but he wobbled off of the ice after the sanguinetti hit anf had his head smashed into the boards by chimera....i would be shocked if he or powe came back should they win. i think staal is done too, i think discretion is the better part of valor there.

Nice blog Jan, the whole Torts Kreider thing is done already, Kreider was and will be jerked around as long as Torts is coach, Kreider is a young prospect with loads of offensive potential and that seems to offend Torts, he's looked pretty trustworthy, speaking of trustworthy why foes he trust Richards at the point on the PP?

All we need tonight is the same effort with more than 2 goals, we've scored 1 goal 3 times and shutout once, we're lucky to have this opportunity, I hope they take advantage of it
