Perry has been a tad bit invisible this series, but he better get his shiat together for the matchup against LA. The STL/LA series has been an absolute war on the ice, better hope LA is worn out for it, or they're going to have a lot of momentum for round #2.

Also. FIST.

How about a little love for the Reverend, too. That was a helluva play to get the puck to Bonino. I can't believe Shero gave him up for a fifth round pick?!?!

Glad to see he is working out for you guys. Blysma has issues playing younger guys. Really hurts their development. The guy sits Despres half the time then starts him in the playoffs only to sit him again.

Perhaps its payback for letting us have Kunitz and Tangradi for Whitney.

I don't think anything could make us forget how bad of a trade that was

Let's not get too crazy here...both teams need to finish the series they're currently playing.

Here, here! No one can convince me that that wasn't the worst trade in the Ducks short history. Even throwing in getting Lubo For Whitney from the Oilers doesn't convince me.

Not going to jinx it Steve, but finally a Kings-Ducks playoff series would be epic.

Also would like to point out that if that were to happen there would be more California teams in the 2nd round of the NHL playoff's than there would be Canada teams.

But both Ducks and Kings still need to play and win one of the hardest games in all of sports the clinching game in the best of 7 series...

We essentially turned kunitz and tangradi into a second rounder.. Well that's depressing

If it happens I think they might even mention hockey on the local news. They might still use the Sacramento Kings and Oregon Ducks logo's though.

Maybe, given that the basketball teams did nothing in the playoff's and the Angels and Dodgers are absolutely brutal right now, they just might have to give some attention to Hockey.

I don't even think the LA Times is sending a reporter to Detroit, I think they are just pulling the AP story. Not 100% sure but that is pretty bush league if they are doing this.

That said, I do expect to see the Sacramento Kings and Oregon Duck's logo's proudly displayed on the evening news. Also waiting for those so call sports anchors totally butcher the players names again.

Yeah but expect to hear about how Brad Doty and Curtis Jerry were fighting for the ball during the 4th period.

dec 2004 the sens gm who was the ducks gm almost traded corey perry for mike comrie....only reason it didnt happen ...oilers gm declined it at the last minute...that would have been one of the worst

In Comrie's defense he did pull Hilary Duff. So really it would be perry for duff, which is always a trade to consider

I think Jeff Friesen and Steve Shields for Teemu Selanne was hands down the worst trade in Ducks history.

True, but that trade was more of a financial move, as the cheap ass Disney management didn't want to pay Selanne. That's why I don't include Andy McDonald for Doug Weight either. The Ducks thought they were IMPROVING the team by acquiring Whitney.
