Seidenberg is the one of the best examples of having to be patient with young defensemen while they develop. The flyers, canes, and panthers all didn't invest the time with Seidenberg and let him move on. I'm sure the Flyers had wished they practiced a little more patience with him and the canes probably let him go as an austerity move not thinking he would develop further. he probably is a good example of someone who needs the right partner to thrive but he had one in Carolina and he is a solid top 4 for the Bruins who were willing to take the chance on him. The Flyers just don't exercise patience with their draft picks, especially defensemen, and it has come home to bite them in particular now. Wouldn't it look good to have him in either orange and black or the canes red right now instead of boston's colors.

Well put but nope! Love him in Black and Gold. He is just so good at cleaning up messes caused by Joe Corvo and rookie mistakes made by Dougie Hamilton. When Julien partnered Seids with Chara 2 years ago he struck gold.
