Watched this young man rise to a new level this year both off and on the ice. The really scary thing is the "assists" that don't end up on the score sheet. He could have at least 10-12 more assists. Great dishes and the player on the receiving can't finish or the goalie stands on head with a grt save. He set up Toews with an open net in GM 2 and Toews just could not finish it (that is rare also).

Also consider he is doing it with out a legit 2nd center all year. Dave Bolland has been a failure there when not injured. He is it doing all by himself. His forechecking and backchecking has improved greatly.

Partick Kane is not playing fair. Opposing players are caught in between...do I pressure or lay back and he burns them either way.

Patrick Kane is from Buffalo. I know part of the reason I like the Hawks as much as I do is because of him. Most of the reason is because Toews is my favorite player in the league, but Kane is a lot of fun to watch also.

Garth, Quick is the only reason the Kings had a chance to be up 2-0 in the series!. What a load of crap you spew......Quick is 25 years old and one of the BEST goalies in the NHL. You don't win too many playoff games scoring 1 goal. Lets put the blame where it belongs or put the credit where it's deserved....the Blues defense and Elliot.

Yea I too do not see LA trading for Miller. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago they would have however not today.

If Quick is gonna be replaced its gonna be with Bernier.

Ryan Miller isn't an upgrade in any sense for the Kings in net......Quick has a 1.81 GAA and .940 save %......two 2-1 games and Quick is the problem? LOL....ridiculous


the Kings offense has to pick it up some....they haven't been blown out of any of the games but when you have two good goalies it's a bounce here and there that makes the difference

I would agree with your statement for the first game but not the second game. Kings had more than a few chances to go up 2 and 3 to nothing but Elliot saved them. Most believe as I do the Kings deserved better in game two.

Right team, wrong player. Kings would benefit more from having Vanek than Miller. Besides if Quick really was so bad they'd just turn to Bernier...

iron man 3 was so good for half the movie then huge disappointment...
